This pick-up is designed with a completely balanced coil configuration to produce great harmonics & a high output with just the right blend of sustain & distortion. When wired in the standard operation, you get a full sweet tone. Four-conductor cable allows you to split the coils electrically: in phase or out of phase, series or parallel, with or without humbucking effect, This pick-up is a direct replacement and requires no guitar modification.
