We thought that instead of the usual "huge stocks at the best prices" that you see everywhere, it might be more interesting to see who we are and what we do.
Rock Factory came into being in May 1984, after a brief flirtation with the name "Music Arcade", when we decided to concentrate on gear for Rock bands, i.e. guitars, drums and PA, which is where our expertise lies.

John (thats me) made his first guitar in 1964, from an old table top and firewood. The truss rod was an inch by 1/4 inch steel bar - slightly neck heavy!
I now build and repair guitars and speakers, look after the website, and am part time PA specialist.
|
| Pamela single handedly built the drum department from scratch, and now runs it part time, and does the accounts and office work. |

Nigel is the Guitar Department manager, and has played (and is playing) guitar in bands for more years than he cares to remember.
He is the man for guitar and bass set ups.
|
| Ricky has been with us since 1996, and is the PA Department manager, and general Mr Fixit when it comes to loudspeakers. Can often be found with a speaker in one hand and a soldering iron in the other.
You need a cable, he's got the plugs...
Rick'll make it!
Ricky is also an accomplished guitarist. Fingerstyle and country are his specialities.
